By promoting a vibrant and sustainable local Food System and teaching children and adults about eating healthfully, SFC provides long-term solutions to hunger and diet-related diseases. Price: $60		FARM TO PLATE TICKETS Sustainable Food Center's First-Annual Fundraiser, benefiting the Austin Farmers' Market, featuring tastings by eight Texas wineries and more than a dozen of Central Texas' most outstanding chefs. Farm to Plate is the only fundraising event of its kind showcasing the fresh, local food of Central Texas directly delivered from memberfarmsof Austin Farmers' Market. Sip and stroll as you enjoy music by Sara Hickman and a demonstration by celebrity chef Charlie Ayers, "the chef who fed Google". Chef Ayers will be signing copies of his new book, Chef 2.0.
